Health & Safety

HFES requires all attendees be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in order to be admitted to the Annual Meeting. If you have registered and are unvaccinated or will not be fully vaccinated by September 28, 2022, please contact our meeting registrar at to arrange for a registration substitution or to cancel your registration. We do not have any provision to accommodate individuals who cannot receive the vaccine or choose to not be vaccinated for medical, religious, or other reasons.

While at the meeting, if you are not feeling well you should immediately go to the Registration Desk, or return to your room and contact conference staff.  We also recommend you contact a friend/colleague at the conference who can also routinely check on you.

HFES is excited to host you during our in-person event for the 66th Annual Meeting and is committed to providing a safe environment at the annual meeting for attendees and staff. Our planning team closely monitors developments related to COVID-19 and the recommendations from both local and national health officials.
